PATH Program

THE PATH AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

“The Path” After School Program is located at various sites within the East Orange School District.  Our program will expose our students to various career paths, in which the students will perform career-specific experiments, tasks and apply planning strategies.  We will operate on a rotating schedule so all students will experience activities such as: forensic science, engineering, business, and IT.  The students will also be exposed to recreation, art, music production and theater.  In addition, The Path will focus on cultural awareness, character education, and physical activity.

THE PATH’S  MISSION

Our mission is to create an environment in which students’ curiosity and inquiry leads to positive and meaningful learning experiences.  We also strive to model appropriate collaborative strategies, which are essential in college and the workplace.
